Ethics
Much value is placed on values and standards in the manager’s performance. What does the manager stand for? Where are the limits of his actions? Since the late 1990s there has been a realization that ethics should be the basis of action.
Paying explicit attention to this makes us aware of our responsibilities in this area. Ethics is therefore a part of all training for professionals at managerial level. In this one-day Master Class, we work on ‘what is ethics’, recognizing and interpreting ethics, making choices based on values and norms and substantiating them, and critically assessing and evaluating company codes within an organization.

About the course
Ethics is seen as essential for all professionals in both business and not-for-profit sectors. There is a need for more value-driven decision-making and a sense of ethical standards among managers. This stems from a number of scandals and excesses that have led to major problems. The purpose of this module is to create an understanding of what Ethics is and what the relevant aspects are. It includes an understanding of the added value of dissenters and an understanding of moral problems. We look at company codes, managerial integrity and the relationship of (business) ethics to corporate social responsibility.
Extension Masterclass
It is possible to follow a combination of different Masterclasses that have a logical connection with Ethics. For this we offer the Multi Masterclass Change Management which includes the topics:

This Multi Masterclass takes about half a year containing 9 lecture days. Please contact us for an up-to-date schedule and cost overview.
Location
The Masterclass will take place in Vianen.
Class times
Monday afternoon and Monday evening (2:00 pm – 9:00 pm).
Duration and study load
The Ethics Masterclass consists of 1 contact day. Including the lecture hours, you should count on a study load of 10 hours per week on average.
Literature
Dutch and English literature will be used for all modules. All lessons are taught in Dutch.
Cost

Certification
The Master Class is part of an NVAO-accredited Master. The program concludes with a Masterclass certificate and accompanying silver Edu badge including entry in the register.
